NYJ Draft Thoughts

With the 6th pick in the 2017 draft the New York Jets select…

There are so many needs on both sides of the ball, it creates conclusions on where this team should go for the near future.  The most important position is the quarterback but this class has been determined to be a small group of developmental prospects.  Putting them in a starting role right away could hinder their progress and expose them negatively.

The departure of Darelle Revis have fans urging for a new replacement so cornerback could be a possibility. Many are not pleased with the struggles at the safety position as well.  Calvin Pryor had another down year and Marcus Gilchrist is recovering from knee surgery.  Fortunately for gang green this years class is very talented at defensive back.

Other positions of need include tight end, running back and a prolific pass rusher. Here are some prospects that might be on the radar come day one on draft day.
